Look to this day:
For it is life, the very life of life.
In its brief course
Lie all the verities and realities of your existence.
The bliss of growth,
The glory of action,
The splendour of achievement
Are but experiences of time.
For yesterday is but a dream
And tomorrow is only a vision;
And today well-lived, makes
Yesterday a dream of happiness
And every tomorrow a vision of hope.
Look well therefore to this day;
Such is the salutation to the ever-new dawn!
For it is life, the very life of life.
In its brief course
Lie all the verities and realities of your existence.
The bliss of growth,
The glory of action,
The splendour of achievement
Are but experiences of time.
For yesterday is but a dream
And tomorrow is only a vision;
And today well-lived, makes
Yesterday a dream of happiness
And every tomorrow a vision of hope.
Look well therefore to this day;
Such is the salutation to the ever-new dawn!
Look to this day: For it is life. Are you inspired yet?
Now, don't judge, but below are the first few pictures taken with our new dslr camera! I'm still trying to get used to it -- and I've been told that it takes some time -- so please be forgiving in your observations. Fear not, though! I'm motivated, and most inspired, to continue developing my craft of photography and in time (I hope) we'll all see some improvement.
Orchids in front of the dark night
Grand Hotel Wien
"Life of Pi" on the Kindle, "Gregs Tagebuch Von Idioten umzingelt!" in classic book form.

what fun pictures!! I am getting so interested in photography after seeing photo blogs...I suddenly see things, like the beauty in your orchid that I never noticed before.
i am your newest follower..pls follow back if you can.
have a great weekend!
my favourite is the one in the grand hotel! exciting getting a new camera!
Lindsay, yes, I'm completely inspired. I told you this, but I'll write it again so you can see it in words, the picture of the orchid you captured is, in my opinion, more beautiful than the orchid itself. You brought it to life through a picture which is a bit of an oxymoron if you ask me. I am looking forward to all the beauty you will capture and hone in on through your eye and your lens. Lilly wants me to tell you that your best pictures will like be of her and she can't wait to model for you. Buddy's exact words were, "Huh? What's a camera? What'd you say? Feed me, woman." He's going to work on his manners right now.
