Back in the Wienerwald - this time on wheels

This past Saturday, I (David) went mountain biking with some friends, one of whom was visiting from Davis. Despite the forecast for bad weather, we jumped on our bikes and headed up into the Wienerwald (the forest surrounding Vienna), specifically up the Kahlenberg, around, and then back down. We covered a lot of ground over the course of the day, and there were a number of memorable climbs and descents. In the end the weather held out, and we got some beautiful shots.

The Davis connection.
I used to cycle with these two back in the Davis days. This time we gave the Viennese hills a try. Both of them are very strong riders, and they wore me out trying to keep up with them.
